Prob got to try more dishes there to know if the other food is really good, but let's also not forget the many refillable side dishes they gave 🤭 - Kimchi, Potato salad, fishcake, bean sprouts, dried anchovies, and veg salad.

This was really thick but too doughy and kinda dry. The pairing sauce was nice though. Would reco to skip this.

Located near Telok Ayer/ Tanjong Pagar MRT, @dalinsingapore could easily become your "supper spot" considering they are open till a slightly later time than other places (11pm).

Rabokki ($35++)
Tbh $35 might seem expensive, but this was a crazy huge bowl that's great for sharing, even among 3-4 pax esp if you're already ordering other dishes! Wouldn't use amazing to describe this dish, but it was spicy and definitely pretty shiok (satisfying)! This had ramyeon, fish cake, egg, and their Tteokbokki was really chewy, although its texture was just different from many others out there - they might have added a lot more starch/ something else that's making it this chewy.

I went there alone and for my solo lunch break. Food was decent but in less than an hour time with half my food portion left, the male server walked to me and asked if i’m done eating and pointed outside that there was a queue. Was a little puzzled but left the place anyway :(

they took around 15mins to serve the dish, having sat there for maybe 20-25 mins eating and the next 5 mins using my phone, I got ‘chased out’ by the server. Considerably a bad experience as i was not even there for an hour????

Do think twice if you wish to dine alone as they expect solo diners to eat fast when they are not a fast food restaurant to begin with.

As much as I’m going to sound like an entitled being, it’s slightly devastating to visit a place on ur wish list after some planning only to find the food to much dismay. I wanted to visit Dal-In when I learnt that they served korean Jokbal (very few korean restaurants in SG actually do). Sadly on this first visit the item was not on the menu and we settled for regular korean BBQ and other meat items instead.

Our $69 beef meat set was mediocre and we joked that mum’s meat cuts with our own grill at home would have been a better option. An appalling dish was the fried chicken chunks in oriental “hot & spicy pepper sauce” essentially Chinese dried chilli, other condiments and awkward bokchoy. It is hard to get fried dishes wrong but here one emerges. Then the soybean paste stew with a thin consistency had very little ingredients to warrant its $16 price tag.

The side dishes were the only good things we’ve had, which tells a sad story of our dining experience here.

Good and sinful jjajangmyeon. It’s a treat once in a while!
