More Reviews of good food at De Ji Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken 得记香港油鸡饭面 (Taman Jurong Market)

And the fillet is almost more tender than the drumstick. Masterful stuff, this is insane. Honestly this might be my favourite soya sauce ckn place, huazai sometimes too salty, Maria virgin is definitely too salty.

This stall's is tender and clean yet doesn't compromise on flavour at all.

After ogling at my hor fun, my wife ask me get another one for her as it tastes so good and is so value for money.

Decided to get the noodles version. The noodle was springy.

Chicken standard is consistent, soft and tender like the previous bowl.

Unbelievable price, for this entire chicken leg+ Hor fun, only $4.

Queue was quite long during weekend lunch time.

Chicken was soft and tender. The meat easily slides of the bone.

The chilli was quite good and mix quite well with the hor fun.

Overall a very filling bowl of hor fun.

Stall in Taman Jurong Food Center with perennial long queue. Order Soya Sauce Chicken drum stick noodles plus roast pork and braised egg. $5.60. The chicken was tender with silky chicken skin tasting sweet and savoury. The highlight of the meal has to be the roast pork. The pork skin was still biscuity crispy!

I’ll be back to this stall if ever I crave soya sauce chicken. Forget Liao Fan.

From 得记油鸡面
Excellent texture of chicken meat.
Both the skin and egg are truly braised through.
Signature chilli and dark savoury sauce blends the egg noodles nicely.
Highly recommended!

For just $3, you could have your soy sauce chicken with either rice or noodle.
.
I opted for the $4 soy sauce chicken with noodle.
.
The chicken leg on top of the noodle had a alluring color and glaze from the soy sauce. Served with a side of chye sim and a bowl of soup, this is clearly a winner at just $4.
.
The texture is moist and tender as the meat is just cooked through. The very thin layer of skin emits a nice soy aroma that is both fragrant and sweet.
.
The springy noodle is tossed in a sauce with a subtle savoriness that pleases my palate. The chili, in particular, possesses a umami flavor that elevates the taste of the noodle.

Not bad, q sweet and tender. Their chicken is of a diff league though

Pls pls plz don't get the siobak

It's v tasteless and not crispy

Char siew was much better than expected as it was fatty and some bits were charred. Quite tender too. Loved their soup which was like a boiled soup compared to the normal chicken rice stall soups, and tastes like theres old cucumber

Chicken was tender and smooth with a nice slippery savoury skin(compared to the sweet kind). Portion was super generous as well(we didnt even request for the Drumstick). Really value for money (Siobak average tho)

For $4 bucks, you can get a large chicken drum stick and huge portion crispy pork! Typical noodles Hong Kong noodles was delicious too! Xoxo, wet tissue no have

Join the queue at this stall in Taman Jurong Market & Food Centre for the Soy Sauce Chicken Noodles (from $3). Tastemaker Acamas Teo declares it to be one of the tastiest versions of soy sauce chicken he's had, thanks to the smooth, flavourful skin and amazingly tender meat. The springy, al dente noodles are a nice bonus too. Ask for the chicken thigh for additional succulence! Add on the tasty Roasted Pork Belly (extra $1.50), but it's recommended that you focus on the stellar chicken instead. If you can't get enough, order half a chicken ($7, or $14 for whole) to feast on till your heart's content.
Avg Price: $5 per person

As fate would have it, work brought me to the Wild West so of course I had to try the winning soya chicken (as compared to the one we had in another hawker center😛). Very affordable at $5 for a generous amount of chicken, charsiew and roasted pork! Not daunted by the queue (which thankfully moved fast), this was honestly pretty good and value for money.

The chicken was smooth and tender, roasted pork was decent though a little more crackling would be good, charsiew was nicely charred without being dry, but I didn't quite like the flavour so I guess the chicken is a safer bet. Texture of the horfun was silky without being overly soft, and I actually enjoyed the chili. Also loved the soup which had a mild herbal taste.

Yesterday's surprise discovery in Taman Jurong (#02-85), this is one of the best HK soy sauce chicken I've ever had! Already a hit with the residents, one bite and you'll understand why. 🤤

I specifically ordered the thigh meat, and boy... it was so guuuuuuud! Smooth, salty chicken skin and that UHMAZINGLY tender chicken meat! So supple and fleshy, it might even be better than a certain 🌟. The sio bak passed the test too, bouncy yet firm meat and a decent crispy crackling on top, but totally outshone by the chicken. You lucky west siders, for this it was worth the travel. 😝

One of the better HK Soy Sauce Chicken I had, the thigh meat is succulent & flavourful. You don't even need any sauce, just eat it as it is. Tenderbest doesn't even come close to living it up to their name, it should be crowned to this place instead. Tender at Best. 🤤

ACAMASTIPS & GTK💮: The Sio Bak (Roast Pork Belly) is decent, fatty, salty with a slight crisp. How bad can it get? But I'd recommend that you stick with the chicken. Just for this place, the chicken is King. 🖖🏻
