The drum is a chocolate marble cake coated with fondant, and topped with eight lucky Mandarin oranges made with dark chocolate and mini chocolate ingots.

Without a doubt, the ā€œDrum Of Fortuneā€ is a
serious showstopper. Tipping the scales at 1.3kg, this elaborate fondant-covered chocolate marble cake by Pastry Chef Joe Tan of Goodwood Park Hotel is crowned with eight ā€œmandarin orangesā€ and a pile of mini gold ingots that are made entirely from dark chocolate.
Whether presented as a corporate gift or as a dessert for a gathering at home, this magnificent dessert is bound to wow.

Less than 10 days to Christmas and we are thinking about these Whiskey Profiteroles Chocolate Tarts from @GoodWoodParkHotelSG.

The choux pastry profiteroles are piped generously with whiskey custard and prettily stacked up in a cone. It is then decorated with caramelised pistachios and icing snowflakes, followed by chocolate hazelnut cream piped near the base which is made of chocolate sponge surrounded by an Oreo crust. The whisky comes a bit quite strong for me but it is an ideal drink for party isn't it? Oh I mean dessert for party.

If you are thinking of a takeaway treat next month, we highly recommend this Slow Roasted IbeĢrico Pork Belly with Crackling, Pickled Cabbage, Apple Sauce and Pork Jus from @GoodWoodParkHotelSG! That crackling sound of the skin from the cutting is unmistakable, while the pork meat here is very tender and fatty as well.

It comes with lashings of creamy Mao Shan Wang durian goodness within the layers of vanilla sponge. There is also the D24 Durian Christmas Log Cake ($80 for 1 kg).
