From the Burpple community

Each All Star Combo Set was made up of 2 small portions of meat accompanied with rice, salad, pickled radish and a katsu dipping sauce. For the meats, we had the grilled lamb (spicy), sirloin steak, tonkatsu and sirloin katsu. Total bill came up to about $41 for 2 pax after GST and service charge.

Grilled lamb (spicy) had a nice gochujang-based sauce which went very well with rice. The breading for both katsu were light and crispy but not greasy, which made it very enjoyable. Sirloin steak was well-seasoned, almost melt-in-your-mouth kind of texture apart from some sort of ligament that was not removed and made it difficult to chew.

It's a rather small restaurant with very limited seating. We went on the night before Christmas Eve but it was pretty quiet with only a few dine-in customers. However, online orders were pouring in, as we stood outside the shop waiting for close to 10 mins to be seated. We eventually walked ourselves in.

Even though service was lacking at the beginning, the food definitely made up for it and we would probably return for the hamburg steak in the future and when I crave for a good katsu that doesn't cost a fortune (comes up slightly cheaper than some katsu specialty places). Side note: drinks might not be worth it.

Order pork loin. No bad for the price when using 1 for 1. But the drink was sub-par. Canned drink but suspect they pour 1 can of drink to 2 3/4 ice fully filled cup. Take noted that they freeze half filled water in the cup before pouring the drink.

Easily fading away amidst the yelling kids and the anxious parents, Deli's Kitchen is unassuming and cosy. There were a handful of tables in the restaurant and two outside. There wasn't a queue when we popped by on Saturday noon, despite it being on the same stretch as the popular Victor's Kitchen. Like recent reviews, there wasn't a separate burpple menu. Instead, a helpful and somewhat apologetic waiter pointing out the menu items that weren't included under Burpple Beyond- as stated in t&c, so no surprises there!

The gyu katsu don checked all the right boxes - crispy, juicy and pretty. Look. At. That. It's a work of art! It was done to perfection, rice was just right, and salad was good too.

That said, they offered a very extensive menu and everything else looked so good! Defo coming back to try something else.

This reminded me so much of Japan’s Motomura since Gyukatsu is such a rare find in Singapore! The portion is huge and price is at a steal ($35) with the 1-1 deal. Saw some poor reviews regarding the Burpple restrictions but there was no separate Burpple menu when we were there, and the waiter was kind enough to explain politely on what items are excluded. Highly recommend! ⭐️

Rare to find gyu katsu in Singapore and I felt like I was brought back to Japan when we requested for a hotplate to further sear our meat. The 1 for 1 definitely made it very worth, will be back! 😊

Went there but was informed no take away, do take note if you wanna head there!
