Premium flavors with a premium price tag. Double scoop that cost a total of $9. Not sure if it’s worth the price since the scoops are really really small (see the gaps in the cup). To be fair, the pistachio was not bad, the chocolate was average at best. But don’t think I’ll be returning since there are other ice cream shops with better flavors and value for what you pay for.

Perhaps not the best combination as the houjicha overpowered the whisky pecan by quite a lot. Their houjicha is rich in flavour but tends towards the sweeter side while the whisky flavour could be stronger for the whisky pecan (coming from a whisky lover). Nonetheless the texture and creaminess made up for it. Worth the trip if you're around the area, it's just a short walk away from junction 8.

Paid $22 for 3 scoops and 2 waffles. Moreover, their waffle is much much smaller than the usual circle ones. Ordered their honey yogurt, whiskey & pecan and oat milk chocolate. Their whiskey & pecan icecream barely had any alcohol taste and the honey yogurt just tasted like sugar and milk. However, their waffles was their only saving grace. It was fluffy and the chocolate & caramel sauce was generously drizzled. But will i go back again? Probably not...

Found myself at their original Bishan outlet even though they just opened in the East at Bedok ha. First visit and wouldn’t be the last as I really enjoyed both gelato and waffles! Liked that the waffles here are crisp and airy.

We got the Whisky & Salted Pecan Brittle (specialty) and Yoghurt Speculoos (premium). The former was my pick cos while I don’t really drink, I do enjoy boozy desserts - this was mild with a good contrast of sweet and nutty crunch, but admittedly out of the two, I liked the tangy Yoghurt Speculoos better. Gelato here is generally smooth, creamy and not too sweet, $3 - $4.2 depending on standard/ premium/ specialty flavours and waffles are $5.

Was so happy to be back at Denzy Gelato! Had to wait quite a bit for a table but as usual, service was friendly and we enjoyed their gelato very much. First try of their waffle today and it’s not the best, but it didn’t disappoint either. Liked that it wasn’t too airy and had a good crisp! The two scoops we picked were Yoghurt Speculoos (Premium) and Whisky & Salted Pecan Brittle (Specialty).

Always loved Denzy’s Honey Yoghurt flavour and when I saw the Yoghurt Speculoos, I had to try! Thought these two flavours went very nicely together. The speculoos didn’t overwhelm the tangy yoghurt and there were bits of crunchy biscoff included. The Whisky & Salted Pecan Brittle was not bad though not as striking in its flavour, but as with the other scoops so far, liked the creamy texture and that it wasn’t too sweet. Waffle was $5 with a scoop of gelato at $3, and top up of $1 for premium flavours or $1.20 for specialty flavours.

🍴 Double scoops, premium flavours, with cone ($7.50 with 15% students' discount): Avocado & Gula Melaka and Mixed Berries Sorbet
I had the Avocado & Gula Melaka and Mixed Berries a few days ago, and was honestly super impressed! I was a bit hesitant to try Avocado & Gula Melaka as I hadn't seen anyone else do it, but Denzy really hit the spot with this one! Incredibly creamy with the characteristic nuttiness of avocadoes, it reminded me of the famous avocado milkshake at Adam Road Food Centre (if you know you know!). If you love avocadoes or want a change from the standard flavours, this is the one for you!
The Mixed Berries sorbet, besides being vegan, was berry delicious!! Usually, I'd expect vegan sorbets to be, at best, slightly icy, yet Denzy's rendition was smooth and natural without a single trace of artificial flavourings. My friend described it as "running through the strawberry fields in spring" which is exactly what it is. It was also an extremely refreshing respite from Singapore's unrelenting heat (although we've had quite a number of rainy spells lately) and will be a treat no matter the weather!
