marmite chicken is nice
the porridge is actually rice slurry. too big bowl cannot finish drinking everything.

🍚 Shredded Duck Porridge ($9.90++) (8/10)
Intially we ordered 2 sets of these (1 for each of us), but the staff told us that one bowl was enough to serve us both. The bowl was indeed pretty big, which surprised us since this item is relatively cheaper than the other menu items. However, the amount of duck meat in the porridge was pretty self-explanatory HAHAHA there was only a little bit of actual duck meat. Hence, I couldn't really taste any of the herbs used for the duck. The porridge itself is super smooth and silky, really delicious and comforting!

🍗 Marmite Chicken Thigh (S) ($13.90++) (8.5/10)
The S size came with 6 pieces of marmite chicken. The skin was pretty thick and crunchy, and there was quite a lot of chicken meat too! The meat is a bit on the tougher, chewier side, but I really enjoyed it. The sweet and salty marmite sauce coats everything nicely and doesn't cause the chicken to become soggy.

🍮 Soy Pudding ($1.80++) (9/10)
Probably the most worth it item because there was a buy 2 get 1 free promo, so we got 3 soy puddings for $3.60++! The soy pudding is really silky and smooth, it's really refreshing and not too sweet. The perfect way to end the meal!

If you havent try Dian Xiao Er herbal roasted duck, you have to come down this weekend and im sure you going to thank me! Its totally game changing and bring a different perspectives of roasted duck. I come every month and never get disappointed. Other nice dishes are braised tofu with minced meat, egg plant, fishmaw seafood soup, lotus root veg!
