Take note: Dim Sum Haus at 57 Jalan Besar will be temporarily closed for renovation from 27th February to 19th March 2023.

One dish that will never go wrong at any dim sum place are their Chee Cheong Fun, and it is no different here at Dim Sum Haus.

The Steam Rice Rolls were silky smooth and the crispy shrimp with the CCF combination just goes so well together. Another must try dish here at Dim Sum Haus.

Dim Sum Haus opens till 5.30am daily, except on Mondays, so this is an excellent late night supper spot.

Food here at Dim Sum Haus is rather affordable as well, and staff here are nice and friendly.

Crispy Shrimp & Mango Roll was one of my favourite dish here at SDS. Sweet and savory in every bite, shrimp was fresh and bouncy. A rather enjoyable eat.

The pan-fried Purple Sweet Potato Rice Cake ($6.80) was a winner. The contracting texture with its slightly crisp edges and the soft-chewy rice cake was very enjoyable and not greasy or cloying.

And to usher in the Lunar New Year festivities, they also curated a compact menu (available till the end of January) with options of rice, noodles, and handmade dim sums. I would skip the heavy carbs and get straight to their signature dumplings and snacks. Fried to perfection, the Popping Lychee Ball ($6.80) was wonderfully crispy on the outside and surprisingly succulent on the inside. A unanimous favourite at the table, the shrimp balls were also nicely seasoned and served piping hot.
