Tried the DTF in JB and i am going to stick to my usual porky xlb in SG. The chicken meat was a tad dry and the juice was quite plain and bland.

After trying the beef soup in my last visit, I decided to try their Braised Beef Noodle Soup (RM24.40).

I would say this is one of the most dish must order in Din Tai Fung other than Pork Chop Egg Fried Rice & Xiao Long Bao.

Their soup you can taste is cooked for hours with spices and beef. Their beef is of a thick cut but still melts in your mouth.

Don't let the Pork Chop Egg Fried Rice & Xiao Long Bao overshadow their Braised Beef Noodle.

First time trying Din Tai Fung in my life. Wanted to try another restaurant but it was closed for renovation. Hence, I suggested to try Din Tai Fung as a opportunity to satisfy my curiosity why there are many rave reviews about it. Heard many people talking about how great it is but never tried it before today and it surely didn't disappoint me.

Highlight of the meal would be the Pork Chop Fried Rice. When I first saw the Pork Chop Fried Rice, I was amazed by the aesthetic of the pearly rice which looks stunning. The rice is full of eggy flavour with mouth of rice I ate and it is consistent throughout. The pork chop was seasoned beautifully and the meat is tender.

The shrimp wanton with the beef soup was the second dish I would introduced. The beef soup is full of flavour which is the best I have tasted so far.

Spend a total of RM155.45 for this meal and it was worth it. Would recommend my friends to try this.
