I've been going to Tambuah Mas since hmmmm dunno when (old already cannot remember) but the food is still as good as I remember it to be.

We had the usual tahu telor, singkong (tapioca leaves), beef rendang, and ayam goreng istimewa (fried chicken special). The tahu telor well fried and goes super well with the black sweet peanut sauce (wish there's more of it!). The singkong was well-cooked and the gravy is so lemak 😘 Had wanted the pepes ikan (fish otah) but they ran out of it. Didn't over-order this time but my stomach wasn't cooperating. Felt very full too quickly 😂

This Tahu Telor is what every Tahu Telor should aspire to be: crispy yet fluffy, sweet yet addictive, fragrant yet light.
This is honestly the first time I ate this. Tofu w light fluffy fried omelette and kecap manis. Did not quite like it because kecap manis is quite sweet making my tastebuds very confused. It reminded me of sha qi ma after a while.
