Green Curry of Chicken

If you are thinking of heading there for an upscale experience of Thai food and if you have the Burpple Beyond membership, there’s 1-for-1 for a limited menu of mains so that you do not burn a big hole in your wallet. Out of the five dishes that is eligible for this promotion, we chose the Green Curry Kampong Chicken and Fried Rice with Roast Duck. The green curry was lemak enough that it’s not surfeiting while the kampong chicken has a good bite to it. As for the fried rice, it lacks a bit of wok hei that we are familiar with but overall a decent attempt. As with all Thai cooking, both dishes had flavour elements of either spicy, savoury, sweetness or tanginess in them.

Green curry had a nice amount of heat but that didn't stop the myriad of complex spices and depth of flavour from shining through. All manners of sweet, savoury, tangy and spicy covered the succulent and tender Kampong chicken pieces. I won't say it's worth it but it's definitely damn good, maybe the best green curry I've had

This tasted of complex spices and carried the heat of an intense curry. The Wagyu beef cubes were tender and thoroughly soaked in the flavours of the green curry. Instead of white rice, this was accompanied with crispy fried roti. Another Thai dish elevated to another level here at Long Chim.

Too in love with this meal!
