CDHK Fish Roe Fried Rice - Every mouthful is so light and crunchyโ€” you feel as though the fish roe was dancing with the rice during the frying process.

่ดŠ๏ผReally authentic HK style comfort food. The type that gives your tummy that warm fuzzy feeling. The minced beef well is virtually unlocatable was my first impression. And having seen how good their signature ็Ž‹ๅญ็‚’้ฃฏ Mentaiko fried rice when it was served in the next table, I was beginning to regret. But as soon as you take the first spoonful, you will be overwhelmed by that beefy flavour. The rice is also grainy, retaining the fullness (hardness) of frying rice raw. Only criticism would be its a tad oily, but that's how authentic ็†ฑ็‚’ would be. Really pleased to have tried this place. It's a gem!

Items ordered: fish roe fried rice, braised lamb, milk tea, long beans, fried fish skin.
Cost: about $70.
I love the braised lamb. The gravy is yummy yummy. And there are mushrooms and tow key soaked in the gravy. Absolute yums. Goes very well with rice too. It's $25 per pot but it's worth it!
The fish roe fried rice didn't live up to my expectation though. Doesn't really burst in my mouth all that much and a tad oily.
Long beans are not too bad, but still prefer Asia kitchen's.
Fried fish skin. $10. Da bomb!
Milk tea. Da bomb too! Super milky.
Will go back for the braised lamb and the milk tea.

super yumz!
