Two hulking slabs of pork knuckle that boast fork-tender meat and the crispiest crackling sitting atop a bed of achar. Unorthodox, but it works so well. This was part of a platter that comes with grilled pork & cheese sausages, hash browns, potato mash, and grilled peppers & cheese. Good for a group of four or two hungry champions.
Fabulously crispy pork knuckle 😍, the meat was well marinated with lots of herbs and didn't have the dreaded pork smell & it was so tender. Also came with two large sausages, hot & crisp hash browns and baked root vegetables with cheese. Loved the very Asian side of achar too, refreshing in a plate of pretty heavy food. Super huge portion, good for 4-5 pax to share as a main (S$38).
Got a big portion for $15 NETT but wasn't that good to be honest. Knuckles skin was on the tough side kind of hard.
Fragrant and tender meat with crispy, golden brown skin. Definitely worth the calories.
