Escargots

Have been visiting this place since I was a child and have loved their Borscht Soup since then.
Enjoyed my Shashlik Steak, Escargots, and Borscht Soup from my visit today.
Will definitely be back for more!

Had ourselves some escargots, borshch and shashlik (duh!) which were pretty amazing! Finished off with the ribeye which we found was too lean and old, but the mushroom sauce managed to mask it and actually made the dish more enjoyable!

Definitely coming here to try the oxtail stew next time! 🐮

The fragrance of the herbs makes this even better than the french ones!

Snails cooked to buttery and garlicky perfection. While some may be turned off by the idea of eating snails, it has a similar texture to shellfish and is just so delicious with the garlic sauce. One of the favourites to order whenever at Shashlik!

While escargots are increasingly featured on restaurant menus, Shashlik dishes up what must be the best escargots in town ($26/dozen). I've tried so many, but I've never had one as flavourful as Shashilik's. Baked with copius amounts of butter and aromatic herbs, the succulent snails have a slight crisp on the outside. Seasoned perfectly the juices in each shell are absolultely slurp-worthy.
