Didn’t expect to find this unique flavour on the menu at @PinceAndPints, which in our impression is the first few restaurants in Singapore to get the city rolling with Lobster Roll. The accompanying garlic butter sauce is sinfully good as well.

Lobster aside, there is something exciting which would be launched on its menu next week. Check out our insta stories for snippets of what’s coming your way!

Yummy! The lobster house started off with only 3 kinds of lobster dishes (plain steamed, chilli lobster and lobster rolls). The thermidor is one of the new additions (not so new at the time of posting now) and it’s still as good as the sensational good ol’ ones!

We had a variety of their lobster dishes - Mac&cheese, Steamed, Grilled &Chilli Lobsters!

Mac&cheese has some small cubes of lobster and creamy sauce binding the pasta together beneath that baked cheesy top. Nothing special to shout about, you may skip it &just dive in to the whole live lobsters!

Our favourite is the whole live lobsters, steamed! SUCCULENT FIRM LOBSTER MEAT WITH ALL THE SWEET JUICY GOODNESS RETAINED IN IT! soooooo good &we had so much joy picking the meat out from the large pincers &legs. Don’t just throw away the legs, they’re really packed with lots of sweetness from the sea! MUST TRY!

The lobster unsheathed itself from its shelly armour with the seasoned effortlessness of a Orchard Towers lady of the night, whilst elsewhere the tomato chilli sauce had an overly-ingratiating, kittenish sweetness that overwhelmed its minor tongue-tingling spiciness. 3.5/5

Thankful to the vouchers given by @burpple , I finally made my first visit to Pince & Pints, renowned for their Lobster Rolls and Whole Lobsters. My order for the evening was this pot of Chilli Lobster ($58++), that's being dressed in a homemade tomato and chilli sauce. Served with fried mantou, you get to dip these sweet pillowy buns into the chilli sauce while enjoying the succulent lobster meat.

Legit Chili crab-like sauce that put some Chili crabs to shame. The sauce is well-balanced of sweet and spicy, thicken but not gooey (trust me, I have ever had some sauce that it's like gooey, that it's almost gelatine like), and the egg thinly swirled into the sauce. This thicken sauce plays well with their fried mantou on the side, or if you have friends having the classic grilled lobster, steal some of their fries and go ahead and dip it right in.
