Gyoza Croquette

$9.00 · 4 Reviews

A blend of finely minced ingredients, including pork, garlic chives, spring onions, cabbage, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sugar, and sesame oil, is formed into a large round ball, then coated in panko bread crumbs and deep-fried.
.
This renders the croquette crisp and crunchy on the outside, while being tender and juicy on the inside, with a satisfying meaty vegetal savoury salty sweet flavour.
.
Served with a light ponzu dipping sauce, with fresh white cabbage and diced tomatoes on the side. So yummy.

A little pricey, spent about $100 for 2 pax
Portions were small

Oden was disappointing
Mentaiko egg was delicious
Crab gratin was small
Gyoza croquette was average
Wagyu hamburg was not bad

Staff say this is the most popular item here, and it's easy to see why.
Crisp, golden crumb batter surrounds the croquette. Within, moist savoury minced pork and spring onions; a combination of big flavours. So good!

Looks pretty unassuming, but super hearty and satisfying. It's chock full of meat and really does taste like a gyoza! Would order again.
