I love its sincerity in plating its dine-in sliced cakes with cream/jam and fruits and providing complimentary chocolate plate writing for takeaway sliced cakes, its effort in the beautiful latte art and interesting breakfasts and its generosity in its pasta portions for lunch. All so light but so flavourful β perfect for a post-dinner treat when you have just that little bit of space left π This is the "queen" cheesecake, Delicius, that is made with Brie de Meaux cheese that makes it just a wee bit cheesier. At our iconic market for the first time, I immediately noticed the patisserie which seemed a little out of place among the other hawker stalls. Stepping into Delicius Pasticceria, I was greeted with an array of confectioneries and gladly welcomed the air-conditioning that brought much reprieve from the heat. So after much deliberation, I finally settled on a slice of Cardinal pastry and Mille-feuille. The ladyfingers cardinal sandwiched with custard, fresh cream and strawberries as well as crispy flaky layers of puff pastries sandwiched with light custard cream were pretty decent with good textures. Though not life-changing, prices over here are evidently lower than most in town and a great alternative to the usual after meal treats.
