The stall is called Dover Rd Lai Kee Wanton Mee and it is my favorite wanton mee in the whole of sg - - lean cuts of char siew, springy noodles, generous serving of vegetables. No particular ingredient is really the star here but they come together for a simple yet flavourful dish.
Prices are at $3.50 for this plate of Char Siew Roasted Pork Rice. The roasted pork and char siew here were rather normal and dry, but still tasted not bad.
The roasted meats were drizzled in a dark sauce that enhances its flavour, while the soup was salty to the right amount.

Overall taste is quite nice. My colleagues call this "fake char siew", so if you don't like the non roasted type of BBQ pork this probably isn't for you. The portion is really too big for me and it's just $2.50. Seems that everyone's favourite part are the noodles!
