This lovely gluey mess is one of the best seller in their dessert menu. Natural sweetness from the date worked nicely with the salted caramel sauce. Great dessert for tea break!
that day when i was late for my date with sticky dates pancakes dating back day 04 of my #GMdiet which states that i can only have banana and milk as my date. my take? a fair take on the dates turned 4 piece fluffy muted tasting pancakes topped with vanilla bean ice cream and melting down to messy sweet affair with sinful warm caramel peanut butter sauce. better desserts and cakes than mains i dare say. $12 a date, i mean plate.

So disappointed with this one. Sounded really good on paper, but it just failed to deliver. The pancakes were kind of dry, and served lukewarm. The sauce was too sticky, so it just stayed stuck on the top pancake. Although this was supposed to be sticky date, it (oddly enough) had a strong peanut butter after taste. I think it's better if you stick with a normal sticky date pudding.
Beat back the Monday malaise with this plate of Olivia & Co's sticky date pancakes, that's an all day breakfast item all day errday. Balance and contrast of flavors? We don't need no stinkin' balance and contrast where we're going, sunshine!
A quartet of incredibly fluffy (think IT'S SO FLUFFY I'M GONNA DIE) sticky date pancakes are ringed with sliced bananas and are then doused in copious amounts of ridiculously sinful warm caramel peanut butter sauce, and is then crowned with a massive scoop of vanilla bean ice cream to finish the whole affair.
It's an all out assault of sweetness that somehow manages to stay on the right side of decadence, mainly due to the fact that the sticky date pancakes themselves are rather mild tasting, helping to keep the sweetness down. Additionally, thanks to the pancakes being to fluffy and light, you could probably inhale them without adverse consequences. It's a sublime dessert to finish any meal with style and a whole lotta sweetness.

The Olivia Sticky Date Pancakes (S$12++) is just another amazing interpretation of how to cook with dates. The stack of four pancakes was fluffy and sweet (but not too sweet)! The vegetarian-friendly dish was doused in a generous amount of warm caramel peanut butter sauce and topped with a huge scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and banana slices!

There's nothing tastier than a glorious mess and this just seals the deal. Warm butterscotch over vanilla bean ice cream. All this sitting on a throne of STICKY DATE PANCAKES!!!🙊 That stack of pancakes stole the show that night. Soft, fluffy and it had that comforting feel that I associate with sticky date pudding... Ahh, bliss. ☺️
