Systematic waiting system via the young boss Melvin, where you have to tell him the number of pax, and wait patiently (plenty of chairs in front of the shop). We used to tell Melvin some nick names of our friends, and laughed when he called his/ her name out loud. .

I guess this doesn't need much caption. A place that food doesn't change over the years. I always found their chicken chop taste better than the pork chop.

Also not to forget to takeaway some kaya roll before leaving

Hainanese Pork Chop is yummy as always. It comes with roast potatoes and if I'm not mistaken cooked frozen veggies. Their sauce is all nice and thick, pairs perfectly with the meat on the plate. YUM!

The food comes within minutes of ordering. Their service is fast and the environment is very lively with everyone else there chatting around with each other.

You would have to come expecting a wait here because they usually have a huge crowd waiting to come in to dine. The wait depends though, because they often manage to squeeze you in without you having to wait too long.

Roti kahwins dipped in half boiled eggs, hainanese pork chop, kaya rolls and kopi peng. My kind of breakfast. Mmm :9

Hailam mee, Lum mee and Hainanese pork chops (which got swapped out to chicken for some reason). Gentle flavors, great presence. Never leave a country without eating it's street food.

All time favourite with a dash of Lea & Perrins Sauce
