Not impressive. The texture was fine but absolutely no crisp. And I didn't like the edge to it, which was quite apparent.
Some well executed hawker char siews are better, not much reason to get this.

Honestly, this was nothing special. Tasted just like regular char siew 😅
don't get me wrong, for the meat is still packed with flavor, very tender and the edges - gently-charred, to give the dish a nice finishing.
