The corpulent mussels languishing naked in an aniseed-kissed sauce of celery root and fennel were utterly delicious. Wipe the pan clean with the garlic bread provided. Sharing highly discouraged.

Mussels like I've not had them before. They were served shell-less and cooked with chopped up celery root, kale and fennel in a silky sauce that had a tantalising smokiness. The accompanying garlic toast was no slouch either.
Portion size isn't all that large plus it is really tasty, so it's a cinch to polish this off by yourself.
