Good but not the best that I have tried. Could be more chewy. It’s one of their signatures here but I feel you could skip this and go for their salad/ moussaka instead.

Taste: 3.5/5

2 Dips are Hummus and Tyrokafteri (spicy feta cheese spread). For the main we ordered moussaka and grilled octopus. Food and atmosphere is good, but didn't give me "wow" experience.

Super savoury and portion is perfect for two people!

One of the rare few Greek restaurants in Singapore. Love the food, great vibes and service 👍🏻 try their feta cheese with honey and sesame, moussaka casserole n skewers!

We had the chicken souvlaki, moussaka and pita bread (with eggplant and red pepper feta cheese dips). I particularly liked the feta cheese dip and the pita bread was really tasty. Apart from the food, the service was fantastic and the restaurant’s large tables make it an appropriate place for group gatherings and celebrations. Highly recommended.

On my first visit here, we found the eggplant a tad bitter and they had kindly changed our order to a fish. So happy that today, this was perfect!

The Moussaka ($26) came piping hot with delicious cheese topped. The combination of meat, potatoes, eggplants and cheese was really good. This dish is suitable for sharing. It is one of the most flavorful moussaka’s I have had locally. (Taste: 8.5/10)

Bakalaki’s interior was really comfortable and it gave off a Mediterranean feel. It is a great place to go to if you want a cozy night out. Can’t wait to go back there to try the other dishes!

From the moment the order is put in, it takes about 40 mins for the Moussaka to be ready. But it is well worth the wait.
Make sure you use the big serving spoon and dig down deep to get all the layers of cheese, eggplant, potatoes, tasty beef mince and bechamel sauce of this baked casserole.
Depending on how many other items you order, or how hungry you are, I reckon this traditional Greek dish can feed between 2 and 4 people.

Tzatziki - Refreshing Greek yogurt mixed with cucumber, garlic & Bakalaki Extra Virgin Olive Oil - I'm not a yogurt person but this was amazingly good 😘
Melitzanosalata Agioritiki - Smoky eggplant spread with red peppers, pinch of garlic & Bakalaki Extra Virgin Olive Oil - I love chewing on the flavorful chunky eggplant 😘
Taramosalata - Spread with delicate white cod roe mixed with bread crumbs & lemon juice topped with pickled wild Cretan Kritamos - Surprisingly awesome as this was not at all fishy 😱
Pita Bread ($2.90) - Greek style flat bread with sea salt & oregano - perfect with those tasty dips 👍🏻
