Bikini Party

$9.00 ยท 4 Reviews

Second Photo: Gambas Al Ajillo ($12) - pan-fried prawns with garlic sauce ๐Ÿฆ . Third Photo: Bikini Party ($12) - this was one recommended by the server and is essentially black truffle paste, mozzarella ๐Ÿง€, and beef bacon ๐Ÿฅ“ in brioche.

โ˜น๏ธ The only downside to it was the extremely long waiting time I had between dishes and my dinner ended up taking slightly over 2 hours (and the cafe wasnโ€™t even packed!) on a Friday and I was very annoyed. It may be just a one-off incident though as my other friend did not have the same experience.

Catalunya has set a ridiculous bikini standard for me, and while the riff here is nowhere near that, this was one of the better items we had here. Don't expect the intensity you get from "truffle" oil as they use truffle paste for this, along with mozzarella and turkey bacon. Eat this quick before the cheese hardens.

From The Great Mischief at The Great Madras at Madras Street, a new Spanish Tapas concept that is run by The Black Hole Group which operates other F&B concepts such as Santap, Working Title, Afterwit and The Mad Sailors which are popular with the Muslim community here.

The Bikini Party is essentially their variant of the Bikini Sandwich โ€” Black Truffle Paste, Cheese and Turkey Ham between toast. Quite decent for something that could hardly go wrong; crisp toast with melted cheese with ham and a hint of truffle aroma in between. Quite something within what was expected and presented on the table.
