noodles are p tAsty and the pork is well seasOneddd !!

friend’s review - noodles are good ( bettEr than dumplings HAHA ) but tRy the smoked duck dumplings cuz they are sUper good , beli beli fraglant ~~

We chose the Sichuan and the braised pork flavoured noodles, with sides of pierogi dumplings and Smoked duck dumplings. The noodles had the perfect texture, really chewy and not too oily. I preferred the Sichuan flavour, as it had a mild hint of spice and some crispy bits inside. I must say I liked the eggs as I am a big fan of those hanjuku eggs with leaky middles. The smoked duck dumplings were wrapped with a gyoza-like shell and filled with bits of duck and veggie. It was my first time trying pierogi and I’m really surprised that these are filled with truffle potato. The skin had more of a doughy, crispy feel. I actually quite like these and might order them again the next time I come. The sriracha cream served together was a really good sauce to complement its creamy filling. For the drinks, the grapefruit thyme green tea was mainly dominated by the sour grapefruit, making it a refreshing complement to the meal. The osmantus longan lime drink was really unusual, with more tea undertones. There was also osmantus jelly added, which had a more agar like texture. Both drinks were really more on the less sweet side, relying more on the natural flavours of the stuff added.
I’ve heard others say the portion is abit small but to me it’s honestly a really good sharing portion. I left feeling like it was just just nice(not too full not hungry either) and it’s probably going to be a place I go with friends to just eat a chill lunch!!:))

Finally visited! Dumpling Platter ($20 for 15pcs) features 5 different types, and is a great way to sample their offerings - my fav turned out to be the Fried Pierogi and Smoked Duck dumplings. Noodles are also very affordably priced, starting from $6. 👍 Only issue is the wait time 'cause limited space and they're very popular!

Yes yes everyone was staring at me dissecting the dumpling, but hey i'm sure you would wanna take a look inside. Chopped smoked duck pieces with arugula and balsamic vinegar. Interesting flavour though.

Starting from the top (clockwise) : veggie, smoked duck, original, pierogi and momo curry.
.
.
Unanimously, we agreed that the original was the best. Could be the pork and the soy sauce, just a taste we are familiar and comfortable with.
.
.
But I only liked the fried pierogi and the veggie mandu. The fried pierogi was interesting with truffle potato, smoked bacon, cheddar. There was a bit of everything that went well together.
.
.
Then for the veggie mandu, it was another familiar taste. With spinach, tofu, shiitake, gochujang inside. There was this umami 😋
.
.
Smoked duck and curry lacked lustre for me. Felt that the smoked duck was too chopped which lost the smoked duckness and the hoisin didn’t go with mustard. As for momo curry, there was just a lot of curry spices. End of story.
.
.
Dumplings darling has a very small seating area so I don’t recc you hoarding seats after you’re done. Food is served fast and you pretty much eat and leave.

The platter does not fall under burpple beyond 1 for 1. Only the noodles and single flavour dumplings.

Had the 1 for 1 lunch set which came with a bowl of noodles, a side of 4 dumplings and a drink ($16).

We were served with pickled beansprouts as an appetiser. It was refreshing.

We got the fried pierogi and smoked duck. Both were good and i honestly can't decide which was better. Both were just so different. The pierogi was filled with truffle mash and surprisingly went well with the crisp outer dumpling skin. The smoked duck was also perfectly cooked and the dumpling skin was just the right thickness and texture. Was really impressed by the dumplings and will definitely come back to try the rest.

Sadly the noodles were lacklustre. Just didn't really enjoy the texture of the noodles although it was rather tasty.

Overall, still a satisfying meal and will come back to use my other lunch coupon.

Tried the perogi, smoked duck, curry momo... and this dessert dumpling was THE darling of the family. The crisp skin, toasty and juicy pear cubes dipped in melting tasmanian honey ice cream was indulgence at its best. Would be great if the pear was slightly tarty as it was a touch too sweet for our liking. Will happily order this even without the Burpple deal.

Seriously?
To be more accurate, these are Gyozas and they make a variety of them. Think Chinese (Peking) smoked duck, (Indian) Momo curry, (western) Fried Pierogi and (Korean) Veggie Mandu on top of the original (Japanese) Gyoza. That’s really international! And they made them good and tasty, each in its own ways. Go for their platter to try all of these at better values.
The meal here would be more complete with their delicious springy noodles. We tried their Sichuan pork and braised pork noodles which were flavourful and yummy.
Offering alcohol drinks to go with the food here is definitely a winning formula, especially with the post-work office patrons in the CBD area. The prices might be on the higher side but they certainly promise a satisfying fill to the stomach; apart from the less than ideal congested sitting in the small space.

Had the lunch set, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of noodles and dumplings served. The pierogi were crispy, fragrant and I enjoyed the dip that it came with! The smoked duck dumplings were unusual and tasty.
