This is my first try of chicken pot and i am pleasantly surprised with the taste. The sauce concoction is balanced with herbs and spices. The tender chicken pieces are also well cooked and everything goes well with your choice of carbs. There are also some noodle choices available and its pretty delish.πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Not your cheapest option especially if you can’t control yourself and added on too many condiments .

14 dollars in all for a basic spicy chicken pot with 3 condiment add ons and with a bowl of rice.

Just opt for medium spice because most won’t be able to handle extra spicy- it is really really spicy .

Good for sharing with 2 pax .

Overall a decent meal - could be better if there were more aroma from the spices.

πŸ’Έ: $7

πŸ’¬: Second time having this and although the beef wasn't as tender as the first, it was still really good!
Not only super generous with the portion, this bowl of noodles is also really satisfying on a cold rainy day 🀀🀀

Medium pot great for 2-3 pax. Discounts available for passion card!

Wisma food court

I’d usually flee from these β€œ Chinese looking β€œ stalls because I am extremely concerned about the hygiene standards at food court these days .

But you just gotta to accommodate when your partner has a craving for chicken hot pot .

I must say that it was really quite tasty with lots of boneless diced chicken in a mildly spiced gravy that went were well with rice .

Quite a big portion for 2 to share.

You cold opt to add other condiments at an extra charge of 1 - 1.50 per item ( vermicelli, Maggie mee , vegetables , potatoes etc ).

A stall in Wisma Atria Food Republic that sells Taiwanese styled hot pots. As the hot pots are ala carte, you will have to pay for the carbs (handmade noodles or rice). Top up items include wood ear, bean sprouts, beancurd skin etc at the price of $1.50 each. As for the gravy of the hot pot, you can select the spiciness level just like mala hotpot. However it’s more of spicy sesame taste rather than mala taste. For each hot pot ordered, you can choose to have the Chef cook the carbs and top up ingredients for you into one pot or cook them yourself. The latter will mean that you will be given the the hotpot with chicken pieces in it and the rest at the side (as seen in the picture). SO, you can OTOT cook and eat your food. For my pot, the noodles were springy despite being soaked in the gravy for some time. Also, despite cooking various ingredients and noodles in the gravy, the intensity of the flavours remained the same?πŸ‘πŸ» Not to forget the tender chicken pieces too!:)
Overall, it was a great treat for two and definitely a stomach warmer (little spicy was spicy enough for me) on chilly days:)
