In this case it's Malay food. It looked like the owners outsourced the stall to Malay cooks.
Reliable comfort food I appreciate being nearby. Here I have sambal chicken, onion omelette, cabbage and bergedil. Fyi although it's run by Chinese, food here doesn't taste like usual economical rice.
Ayam penyet is deep fried till golden brown, although leaning towards the dry side. The crispy bits added the crunch but what made us give a thumbs up is the sambal belachan chilli at the side – spicy and tangy enough.

Never knew there is such a gem around my house, guess it is because it's opening hours are catered for breakfast and lunch(They close at 3). First impression of the first bite was sweet and the spiciness comes slowly like a super star, waving his hands to the crowd.
