This was the 'Bak Kut Teh' (came with rice). The soup was herbal based and non-peppery, which I loved, and look at the generous serving of tofu and other veggies πŸ˜‹πŸ˜. We also ordered the broccoli and mushroom dish, but that tasted a little bland. I will come back here to try other dishes because I'm getting more into vegetarian food and vegetarian food is rather hard to find in my area.

Ordered Seaweed Rice, Sweet and Sour Mushrooms, Sambal Okra and the Chef recommended Hotplate Brinjal and Old-fashioned Vinegar Stew. The dishes were all a tad bit oily but very tasty and flavourful nonetheless! The cosy ambience had an old-school western vibe, and wasn't too crowded at 7pm dinner time! Waiting time for the food was incredibly quick (around 5 minutes) which makes me slightly sceptical but it's overall still better than a long wait! Would revisit to try the other item on their extensive menu!

Sambal Okra, Hotplate Brinjal, Sweet & Sour Mushrooms, Claypot Vinegar Stew, Seaweed Rice. Food was served soon after we ordered and t'was pretty good! Menu consists mostly Chinese dishes but they do offer afew Italian items like pizza and pasta. Will be back to try more dishes!

Yam ring & Bitter gourd with Black beans. Tasty and reasonable price 😒 but a bit oily and salty and may have use msg . 🍚 rice a bit to hard ( did they reheat overnight rice and serve it out ??) and hope they could serve brown rice in the future

D'Life, a lacto-ova vegetarian bistro cafe located in the quaint corner of Commonwealth Crescent neighborhood serving up Western-Chinese tze char style vegetarian cuisine at affordable prices.

Their cakes however are not vegan-approved, this Chocolate Banana slice is awfully rich and sinful, but I'm not complaining. D'Life open their doors daily for breakfast as early as 7am with full service till 10pm. The cafe accepts only cash terms, but do not include service charge and taxes.
