Grabbed 2 boxes of Don Donโs sushi and had them at their food court space in Clarke Quay. Fun how you can just pick up a mix of food and conveniently heat them up, etc. Would have definitely liked more mentai mayo here, but itโs not too bad for the price!
This place appeared to be famous for their maguro but I was in the mood for salmon (I prefer salmon over maguro) so I ordered the cheapest item on the menu, the Salmon Rice Bowl with thick sliced Atlantic Salmon.
I have to say that they delivered on what they put on their menu! The salmon pieces were thick and substantial. The slices were beautifully marbled and fresh. It tasted sweet and melts in my mouth. Love love love!!! The rice used was authentic Japanese short grain rice, and tasted SO DELICIOUS with the Salmon. The rice was like glowing (i am not exaggerating) and perfectly seasoned, not too sour to overpower the salmon. The wasabi was also not too strong tasting, which I loved.
Would love to try the Maguro bowls in the future as the cheapest item on the menu, which was not their specialty, had honestly impressed me.
Hot Matcha Latte ($2.90) was a good drink for drinking during cold weather. Managed to order it after recovering from flu. Probably I should order Hot Houjicha Latte next time ba. It's smooth and not that bitter and sweet taste for Matcha Latte. Let me know what you all recommended for Don Don Donki Drink Stall.
was craving for sushi that day and popped by @donkisg for some sushi. ended up picking this ๐๐ก๐ฎ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐จ & ๐๐ง๐ข ๐๐๐ญ ($16).
the uni was really fresh and had a creamy and rich taste. ๐ the chutoro on the other hand, was much more mediocre and wasnโt that fresh! ๐
for its price, I would say itโs pretty worth esp if youโre looking for a quick sushi fix! Iโve heard from my friends that their uni isnโt that fresh sometimes so my advice is to go early when they just put it out ๐ฌ
I loved the matcha latte here so I came back for hojicha latte.. so Glad that it didnโt disappoint. Strong roasted Essence and aroma, and it was thick, creamy and smooth. Really worth the price.

Pan fried gyoza that wasnโt crispy anymore after microwaving. But apart from that, gyoza skin was thin and filling was pretty juicy. I felt that it was slightly to the pricier side compared to their other options but.. always glad to try new things.
