Only had the hojicha latte from Don Don before and decided to get something different this time. This sweet potato latte was more on the sweeter end and came surprisingly super thick. Not really my kind of drink as it got too heavy after a while. Perhaps good to let the ice melt a little more to tone it down a bit!

Not sure what is the name but I had the Pork Katsu With Omelette Noodle ($7.90) and it is better that expected. At first, I thought like it would be just meh but I was wrong. The pork katsu was thin in batter but thick in meat. Also, the omelette and noodle was good. I didn't expect a supermarket food to be that nice.

I was craving for some carbie noodles so Kajiken felt like a good choice. But... to my disappointment I felt the portion was quite small. More noodles could be given, and there’s only one or two pathetic looking pieces of Cha Shu ($13.80). Could have been a higher portion with more ingredients to make the dish more interesting.

Iced Hojicha Latte
SUPER GAO!! It’s thick and smooth and not powdery at all, with nothing but the rich and deep roasted flavours characteristic of quality hojicha.

Iced Sweet Potato Latte
Might be a peculiar flavour to some but I loved it! Really thick and milky and incredibly fragrant.

I bought this because a fellow shopper told me this was his favorite. He spoke with so much conviction that I couldn’t help buy this to try! True enough it was pretty delicious with a strong miso flavour. The noodles are well textured and different from the usual Maggie you’d get. I added some chilli padi to make it spicy because.. I just needed an additional layer of flavour to the overwhelmingly salty miso. Glad I’m tried it, but I honestly don’t really feel compelled to buy it again because it’s pretty expensive for a cup noodle (I usually just spend $1-$2 on Maggie or myojo😂). Love to try the other instant noodles donki has to offer though!

This packet contains 2 servings of ramen to be cooked. The soup is a tonkotsu flavoured broth with black garlic oil. Surprised at how delicious it is! The soup was thick and on the creamier side. And like all other instant noodles, this was really salty. But $3.30 for 2 portions and this quality - I feel like it is super worth it. Although it doesn’t come with ingredients, it’s up to you to add anything you want to make it a full meal, or ass nothing if you just want it as a comfort snack. I added hanjuku eggs to elevate the deliciousness. Can’t wait to try other flavours🍜
