Established over 40 years ago, this stall is now in the hands of 2nd-generation hawker Nicholas Neo. My grandparents used to love eating this, bringing me as a child to partake, on the weekends.
.
It's the perfect snacking indulgence. Each finger-sized radish stick is freshly fried using a unique metal rack, hot and crisp without being greasy.
.
Bite in and you get a light crunch outside, followed by the tender soft inside, carrying addictive starchy savoury sweet earthy flavour.
.
Little wonder they sell over a thousand pieces daily.

This time it's not me. But someone bought it so I eat lor. Haha.
I had to review this because it's a hidden gem at my carrot cake sticks stall. I'm not sure what the combination here is, or even if there are three, but it's so good.
Deep fried carrot cake sticks aren’t something you usually find in hawker centres. Here, you can get 12 sticks for $2. A cheap and good breakfast.
These wonderful gems are deep fried till golden brown. Absolutely love how it’s so crispy on the outside yet the radish cake is so soft and chewy on the inside.
Only 12-$2 slightly browned, hint of caramelised flavour on crispy sides, taste delicious on its own, best consumed when it’s warm.
Addictive.
Been eating this since young. Pure goodness. It's so good you wonder if it's the shape or they're just great cooks. Damn cheap too.
