Ordered Rosé Chewy Noodles from @doongji.sg recently and I really liked it. It was creamy with a good spicy kick and the noodles were really chewy too. It's good for sharing because the portion is huge. It can feed about 2 people depending on how much you eat 😋

BEST korean in the East! I have been a loyal fan of Doongji, their side dishes and stew are excellent. Love that they are always generous with the ingredients. It would be perfect if they allow free refill of soup broth.

Got these as the lunch set promotion and it was so worth it as the portions were so huge. The noodles from the jajangmyeon were chewy and had a good bite while the sauce was salty with lots of potatoes and some minced meat. The cucumbers also added a good crunch to the jajangmyeon. The tofu stew came piping hot and was very flavourful with lots of ingredients like pork, egg, tofu, glass noodles and onions. The soup was slightly spicy but delicious. Side dishes were really good too, and were generous with them.

First time here.. sides was pretty good but the waiting time is awfully long.

It has been a good 45mins..
not a big crowd but probably not enough chefs…

Hidden amongst the stretch of eateries along Katong, you might miss Doong Ji if you don't look out for it. Offering really affordable set lunches, consider this a good lunch option if you're in the area. The food here is authentic and generous. The Army Stew ($39.90) is robust and spicy, packed with luncheon meat, ramyeon, ddeokbokki, hotdogs, and kimchi, good for sharing between three to four people. Also get the Seafood Pancake ($17), which Burppler timtam_tum thinks is "one of the better Korean pancakes around definitely."
