Great for those with a lighter palate, Dopa Dopa Creamery’s Avocado and Home Roasted Pistachio were perfectly gooey [Double scoop $7.60, +$0.70 for premium flavours]. Both were also very natural tasting; none of the cloying, artificial, thirst-inducing effect that you sometimes get with other ice creams. For a more substantial treat, the Butter Croissant ($4.50) was a good vessel to soak up all the nutty goodness from the Pistachio. Made with their home-made nut paste, the subtle lingering fragrance of their signature flavour was enjoyable. And in comparison, the Avocado had a refreshing quality and a pleasant bit of sweet earthiness.

Dopa dopa is undeniably my fav ice cream store in SG, because they really ace the texture (smooth, creamy, sticky almost) and certain flavours really stand out.

In the cup we have pistachio & roasted rice green tea; in the cone we have guava & pistachio.

The pistachio was delicious as usual. Tried the guava for the first time and I was SOLD! It was refreshing and had a distinct guava flavour.

Got this when they were still on burpple so we paid $10 for everything! If anyone relevant is reading this, please bring dopa back on beyond, thanks :)

if you love pistachio, this is the place to visit!!!! i love their ice cream texture, and especially the pistachio flavour which was really rich and satisfying (‘: so thankful we decided to get double scoops of it 😂 what a gem!!!!

Had roasted green tea and kiwi lime mint sorbet on a butter croissant. More of an ice cream texture than gelato. Not too many choices for flavours too.

This is my/our favourite ice cream in the whole of SG!!! This was the first time we had it. In Poland, I had the best ice cream I’ve ever tasted thus far. It was a v v delicious, smooth and creamy ice cream and I still think about it from time to time. Dopa is the only place that comes close to that!

It’s very smooth and creamy, they really churned it for a sufficient amount of time to produce an almost sticky texture which is da bomb. The flavour profile of their pistachio is really good: nutty and not too sweet, it’s amazinggg. The genmaicha has a roasty taste, and it is a nice balance of bitter (from the matcha) and sweet.

This is our go-to ice cream place!! Yums

Lots of songs of praise on their homepage, so my expectations were pretty high. Even with the Burpple 1-for-1, these 2 cups ran up to $10, which is just about the ballpark of Daily Scoop Udders and the usual gang of ice creameries.
Beyond the pricing, the ice cream was also not compelling enough for me to remember details about it, much more to convince me of making it a regular haunt. As an avid sesame ice cream kinda guy, their sesame had a well roasted profile without being overtly sweet, but that’s about it really nothing to shout about over here. The chocolate wasn’t the usual dark, strong and aggressive tasting kind that is overpoweringly sweet, which is a welcome exchange as it was subtle and tasty. The other two was alright.
Perhaps I don’t have the tongue for them artisanal homemade gelato things, but in my opinion for the pricing the desserts were okay.
