Matcha Made In Heaven ($4.20) was quite average tbh but matcha jelly really weird taste tbh. that’s just really distinct taste. heaven on hell 🤯

Matcha Macchiato ($4.50) was quite milky and got silky for soya bean. quite thick for Macchiato and also matcha really weird taste tbh.

as a matcha fanatic, i was slightly disappointed that it tasted more like green tea than matcha. tbh tastes similar to starbucks green tea frap so you can be the judge of this :”) BUT definitely less sweet. would say its an elevated version of sbux’s still bc of the creamy foam layer which had a tinge of saltiness that went well with the drink. soy pudding was basically beancurd and could be even silkier but still good + they clearly are v generous with it!

got it during their 50% off promo but i’d pay full price for this!

Ordered a soy millet porridge with less toppings but it was already so salty and a small bowl for 3.80 which leaves you pretty dissatisfied .

I recall Mr Bean to be a health conscious brand but they have now resorted to using microwave to heat their condiments . And I saw a scoop being left t cook together with the porridge - I wonder if it’s even safe - is the material toxic?

Attempted to order the soy ice cream just for a fuller meal but as usual - either machine not working or some bad excuse . I have experienced this many times over at a few outlets .

Mr bean used to make their soy milk onsite but no longer these days . They come in huge plastic bags . The pancakes are also varying in quality these days - some places serve cold and hard ones .

I guess that’s the end of my mr bean journey .

Abacus seeds taste just like mochi but really remember to get earl grey jelly that thing is gold

Do Qoo is Mr Bean’s new dessert venture tucked away at a quiet corridor in PLQ Mall. They offer 5 combinations of dessert or you can build your own bowl (both cost $4.20), which is what I did!

I got:
🌾grass jelly + soybean curd (both delicious)

and topped it with ...
🍵matcha jelly (decent but could do with a creamier jelly mixture)

🍡abacus balls (warm, soft and chewy 🤤) and

☕️ earl grey jelly (the showstopper! The earl grey flavour was strong and fragrant, but not bitter 😀)

Definitely a dessert that can be split between 2-3 people and very worth giving a try!
