This hidden gem is located directly opposite Chye Seng Huat, abit bold but I must say they are on par if not better! Firstly their prices are super affordable, and has $12.9 lunch and $10 tea time promos to entice the crowd! Must try are their savory waffles and croissants!!! Made to prefect crisp and the flavor is just nice too. Lastly, the service is very warm, made us feel so at home :) Kudos to Dose!

Flavour-wise this was rather strong; lemon flavours were zingy while the meringue did give it a little sweetness, but the textures felt a bit off. Cake was rather dense and stiff, and the meringue itself seems to be overbeaten; mushy and a little bit solidified.
From Dose! at 139 Tyrwhitt Road which replaces Anythingz Cafe. They use blends from Blacklist Coffee Roasters in Australia, and the Étude blend is a mix of Kenyan, Brazilian and Ethiopian beans which provided a medium body with a earthy and nutty flavour profile.
The sign board in the background is handcrafted by their Ah Gong made in the 1940-60s hoping to have their own shop with 志成 which means "fulfilment of ambition".
