Drips Bakery CafĂ© is a delightful spot that offers a cozy ambiance paired with creative pastries and unique beverages. Among the items I tried, the Almond Croissant was the clear favorite. The croissant was perfectly flaky, with a generous filling of high-quality almonds that tasted fresh and indulgent. It’s one of those pastries that you’ll want to come back for.

The Seasonal Fruit Tart, while visually appealing, didn’t quite steal the show but still delivered a pleasant balance of sweetness and tartness. Another highlight was the Ondeh Ondeh Danish, a pretty pastry infused with the familiar flavors of pandan and gula melaka. It’s a modern twist on a local favorite and definitely worth trying. On the other hand, the Mushroom Chicken Pie fell a little flat. While hearty, it lacked the standout flavors that would make it truly memorable.

The drinks were equally intriguing, especially the Cappuccino and Iced Café Latte, both made with Koji Rice milk. The rice milk added a creamy and slightly sweet note that complemented the coffee well, making the beverages a unique and enjoyable part of the experience.

Overall, Drips Bakery Café impressed with its inventive take on classic items and thoughtful execution. While not every dish wowed, the Almond Croissant and Ondeh Ondeh Danish alone make it worth a visit. For a cozy afternoon snack or a coffee date with a twist, this café is a great choice.

Tried these tarts and added them to my dessert go-to list:

1) Cinnamon cherry brandy tart
2) Cinnamon apple tart

Their tarts had distinct flavours and were not cloyingly sweet, looking forward to trying more flavours at the cafe.

This far from aesthetic picture does this tart no justice. While initially repulsed by the price, I’m glad it tasted as expensive as the price. The tart was sufficiently form yet crumbly, with a melt-in-your-mouth feel after. Granny Smith apple slices that were glazed with light cinnamon, giving off a delightful sour yet sweet and spice-y flavour. It went perfect with the lightly textured cream in between and the tart shell. Although I was craving an apple crumble (they didn’t have it that day), this did the job of satisfying that not-too-sweet yet sour apple dessert I was looking for. Ultimately, it’s still a pretty damn pricey tart for the size no matter how delicious it was.

Tucked away in a corner is Drips Bakery Café, that are famous for their tarts. The fruit tart ($13.90) is bursting with different fruits, and the Yuzu Tart ($9.90) has tangy aromatic notes but the meringue is way too sweet to finish. Both tarts are abit too hard and we do find it rather expensive. Perhaps might be better to bring more people to share the tarts!

This Seasonal Fresh Fruits Tart ($12.90) was berry nice! đŸ‘đŸ»Topped with quality fresh raspberries with a tangy-weet profile which complements the custard, this was delightful!
