$7.90 (with the weekday lunch promotion) // had the most laidback lunch in this cafe along arab street, rly rly loved the vibes of this place. the food was great too!! a chunky piece of salmon well marinated in the tangy and salty mirin sauce, paired with flavorful mushroom medley, steamed broccoli, onsen egg and fluffy, hot brown rice ~~ healthy + delicious!!

(bases, sides and proteins are all customizable, and they provide extra sauce for free of charge)

Ordered the Mirin Salmon Grain Bowl $12++ and Unagi, Eggs and Toast $16++. The salmon is well-marinated, sautéed mushrooms and carrots are very tasty.
Love the sourdough with the creamy and soft scrambled eggs, the unagi is a little small for the price though. If it’s not for burpple beyond, it’s not worth the price.

Great place for salads. We ordered the salmon salad, that comes with poached egg, edamame and cherry tomatoes. One of us ordered the one with brown rice and the second person ordered the salad option. Both were delicious, with generous servings of rice. All these for $14 (for 2) with the Burpple 1-for-1 app!

Paid $14 for 2 main dishes! Worth it and yummy!

Tom Yum Seafood Pasta [$14]
- Portion was a bit small but was creamy and tom yum taste was great!

Salmon Miso Grain Bowl [$14]
- Salmon was cooked perfectly
- Onsen egg was done to perfection
- The other components in the bowl complemented the dish and made it very wholesome!

$14 but worth it with Burpple Beyond 1 for 1!

I don’t think you should order from this cafe.
Ordered the mentaiko pasta and Tom yum pasta. Mentaiko wasn’t hot and was a little al dente resulting in a stomachache. Prawns were completely raw. Was left in disbelief because when I told the restaurant owner (cashier person who seemed in charge) this, they didn’t recook the prawns and left us waiting. When I asked, he said I had told him I didn’t need it recooked. Actual situation: He’d asked if I wanted a new dish and so as not to waste food I said I don’t need a new piece, just cook again. Instead, he simply took our dish away, probably threw it, and didn’t recook it. We were left waiting there and they barely apologised even after the situation had been clarified. Terrible cafe standards. This is my second time here and I was really disappointed because their sous vide bowls are not too bad.
