Portion was v small. Taste was ok, there's this viscosity from veggies presumaby, enough umami, and nice chunks of duck breast. The fried shallots really contributed too
Before you ask, the deboning cost is actually justified cos they did a fantastic job.
Duck itself was ok, there's a slight crisp on some parts, and the marinade was q mild w a sweetness that hits you at first, but gradually the savouriness comes through
The sauces(duck jus, raspberry, mustard, sriracha) were all awesome. Duck jus was sweet, abit too much on its own but goes well w rice. The rest of the sauces are all adjusted to pair nicely with the duck. Appreciate the R&D that went into it

Thanks to the air-conditioning weather today, I could enjoy some warm soup. You could find some duck meats inside together with tomatoes and winter melon. $7++
Famous for their Irish roasted duck, I really enjoy the texture of the meat; chewy but not hard to bite. $10++
Itβs a must to have their signature roast DUCK at @ducklandsg! π¦π¦π¦ My sister & bro-in-law actually stand by their Fish & Chips, but I shall leave that for my next visit! ππ»
.
Shared half a Roast Irish Duck ($30++) with 3 other ladies! π The duck exuded an alluring aroma when served really got us salivating. π€€ Roasted to perfection, its skin was super crisp & oozing with fat juices. π While I would have preferred it to be more meaty, it was undoubtedly pretty tender with no gamey taste. ππ»
.
What aced the dish was the accompanying 4 dipping sauces! π― For an Irish/Western take, go for their tangy raspberry sauce that cuts away the oiliness with its tangy zest. π For spice lovers, their calamansi chilli which packs a punch will please your taste buds. πΆ Their yellow mustard sauce leaned towards the sweet side, which complements the savoury duck meat. π My favourite has got to be the duck sauce, a savoury & rich gravy full of the duck essence with some soy sauce. β€
.
Drizzle the duck sauce over their Steamed Duck Rice (+$2++) which is cooked in duck fat, sweet corn kernels & spices. Liked that it was fragrant but not oily! π
.
We also added their Salted Vegetable Duck Soup (+$6++) π₯£, a comforting bowl prepared with roast duck breast, white radish, tomatoes π
& stewed for hours with salted vegetables. To be honest, we could not taste the duck at all π€£ as the salted vegetables dominated the bowl, but the small chunks of duck meat was tender. ππ»
