We had the mixed dumpling platter ($20) and the braised pork noodles ($7.50). Here’s our ranking of the dumplings, in the order of best to mediocre: (1) Prawn & Crab; (2) Pierogi; (3) Veggie Mandu; (4) Original; and (5) Smoked Duck.

The Prawn & Crab was the highlight of our meal. Stuffed with thick, juicy pieces of prawn, and accompanied by a kick of spice, it seems like a refreshing take on the classic Har Gau. Those allergic to peanuts should definitely avoid this dish though! It’s topped with chopped peanuts.

The Mayo on the Veggie Mandu didn’t feel necessary — it was a little heavy when paired with the lighter tasting dumpling.

The smoked duck is really the definition of ‘meh’ — just smoked duck and dumpling skin. Nothing too inspiring ☹️

Tried the XO Prawn Mee ($10) and absolutely loved it. The noodles were springy and the sauce that coats around it is full of the prawn broth flavour. The ebiko is a very good addition, further enhancing the seafood flavour of the dish. The prawns given were huge, plump and really fresh! We also had the dumplings platter, and my personal favourites were the fried pierogi and crab & prawn dumplings. Definitely will be back!

It’s my favourite dumplings out of the three we ordered. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 not greasy at all. The other 2 are Prawn & Crab and Smoked Duck.

Long overdued review - my first visit to Dumpling Darlings did not disappoint at all. If you love dumplings, here is the right place to get your dumpling cravings fixed! Ordered their Braised Pork Noodles and 3 types of dumplings. They are very generous with the braised pork, also super tender and not dry at all. Noodles are well-coated with amazing flavours. Can’t wait to head back to try their Miso Mushroom Noodles!!

On a side note, service was amazing too!

The first thought that came to my mind when the waiter brought the bowl of noodles over was... This was a very big bowl for only $7.50++! The dish contained a pretty generous serving of egg noodles although the noodles are more of the chewy rather than the springy variety. The highlight of the dish was the pork, which honestly resembled more of pulled pork rather than something akin to the 卤肉 which I was expecting. I added a Japanese onsen egg for an additional $1.50 as I thought it would be a small bowl of noodles but I was so wrong!!! Overall, dish was pretty decent although it would be better if the pork was more flavourful and fatty 😛

You may want to share the noodles if you are going for the dumpling platter, as it may otherwise be too filling! Not to mention that Dumpling Darlings has been really popular recently and the restaurant restricts dining to a duration of 45 minutes, unless there is no one else in the queue 😱 so do be prepared to finish your food quite quickly!

Great dumplings at a relatively affordable price!
Love the Polish dumplings the most, crispy skin on the outside and creamy potato-ey filling on the inside.

Really appreciate the wonderful service as well :)
