It’s no fault of the noodles of course which were honestly plenty delicious, if not outshone by the 🥟 We had the braised pork noodles: pretty generous portion of tasty braised meat + nori + ramen egg + spring onions + homemade noodles. I really really liked the noodles. They were cooked just right — springy, qq, with a good bite — and reminded me of good ramen noodles actually, so much that I had to remind myself I wasn’t having mazesoba. I would’ve liked a little more punch and oomph (by way of lard preferably imma fatty), but I was so impressed with the texture of the noodles I ain’t complaining.

Ordered 2 lunch sets.
Miso mushroom noodles, smoked duck dumplings and longan osmanthus pu erh
Szechuan noodles, fried pierogi dumplings and grapefruit strawberry green tea.
I expected the miso mush noodles to taste quite hawker centre-ish, but it exceeded my expections. Noodle portions were just nice, with a lot of well seasoned button mushrooms. My friend who tried the szechuan noodles loved it, especially the szechuan spice. Smoked duck dumpling contained lots of duck bits, which complemented the oyster sauce provided. The fried pierogi dumplings really impressed me! I loved the mashed potato filling, but especially their spicy creamy sauce!! On the other hand, drinks were so so, tastes like what you would think it will taste. Will be back for the dumplings platter! 5/5, worth the money!

We had their Fried Pierogi (4 pc) as part of a lunch set and an a la carte Original (5 pc), and both were so good we almost — just almost — forgot about their noodles. This pan-fried OG of minced pork collar and napa cabbage was very much a gyoza: super juicy insides literally bursting at a first bite, crisp and thin skins barely (but perfectly) holding all of that in. So good, nothing for me to possibly pick on at all.

Just get the fried pierogi dumplings bc those were DAMN good 😵 but quite oily. Pierogi: 9️⃣/🔟

🍜DUMPLING DARLINGS🥟
We ordered: sichuan pork noodles, the other pork noodle that we forgot the name of, normal dumplings, fried pierogi, grapefruit drink and a sparkling passion fruit drink. tbh everything was quite nice but also mediocre at the same time. 😵 rly rly rly crowded. the better of the noodles was the Sichuan pork noodles. drinks.....weren’t that good. idk. BURPPLE 1 for 1 made this $16 set meal worth it but otherwise...:/ I wld only pay full price for the FRIED PIEROGI (3rd pic) SIDE NOTE: their appetiser is RLY nice. 7️⃣/🔟

Does it live up to the hype? Yes. The truffle inside the fried pierogi dumplings is not too much and further highlights, totally not overpowers the dumpling fillings. It really goes well with the miso mushroom noodle - a rather basic, just nice flavored main that provides a solid base for the dumpling.
