Glad that I was able to have this açai bowl ($14) at ECP, besides the Macs, Coffeebean and Briyani options. Was well made though portion was not large.
This was rly good! It was a combination of gruyere, cheddar, mozzarella and provolone between two slices of lightly toasted sourdough bread - the texture was just right! Dipping it in the slightly sweet tomato soup made it even better 👌🏼
Can’t rmb the name of the dish but it’s one of those full on breakfast plates you’d get at any cafe. Except I have to say the bacon was legit. I don’t even eat bacon!! Finally some real stuff. My only gripe would be the price point 🥲 Flat white was like any other cafe.
Pricey place but you pay for the warm homely vibes and friendly service! Pleasantly surprised by the lightness of this dish - we had it for breakfast! The ice cream was froyo. Super duper refreshing, but the price really does make my wallet cry a little 🥲 Great treat nonetheless :)
A great choice for vegetarians, the veggie brekkie packs as much heft as a traditional big breakfast, with a heaping plateful of smashed avocado, grilled halloumi, roasted portobello, rosemary-pickled tomatoes, and garlic oil-dressed baby spinach to accompany silken scrambled eggs on sourdough toast.

East Coast Commune recently refreshed their menu and while I welcome new dishes to try, I'm also a little sad tp find this no longer available.
The waffle is light and fluffy with just a hint of smoky sweetness from the roasted corn, and pairs nicely with the substantially heavier fried chicken, which really, is what we're here for. The exterior batter is crisp, crunchy and none too thick, encasing surprisingly juicy and tender meat within. I also thought the refreshingly tart chilli pickled daikon salad was a nice touch as a foil to the main elements on the plate.
