their famous 3 bowl set was $13 alacarte , and $16 with a drink! The 3 Bowls set was a good ‘sneakpeek’ into taiwanese dishes : served as three petite-sized bowls ( lu rou fan, chicken rice and intestine mee sua) in a cute lil tray!
what I really loved about this place was probably the ambience: the entire place was decorated as a classroom. Their menus were designed as school workbooks and their walls were adorned with chalkboards and school posters. The whole setting made it seem as if we were magically transported to a Taiwanese classroom within this little nook in Singapore. I would love to visit here again ❤️

Literally ate 6 bowls + 2 sides for two of us! Kinda pricey for the set meal but I think it transported us back to Taiwan with the vibes n yummy food! The tofu side dish is nice - do try!

This was at their new outlet at Pasir Panjang. They don’t have sets anymore and everything is a la carte. We tried the tomato omelette, braised cabbage, crispy salty chicken and chicken rice! All were great and around $16 per pax

A Taiwanese friend told me it’s the best 卤肉饭 she has had in SG. But I’m quite disappointed. The 卤肉饭 is very plain, just normal 卤肉 any Chinese can do. The 大肠面线 is a bit sour. The 鸡肉饭 is just chicken floss with 卤肉汤. Nothing special. Only the bubble milk tea makes me feel better.

It doesn’t worth queuing for more than half an hour in Saturday morning.

Food taste is unique and tasty. Long queue during dinner time, expect to wait for 30 mins or more if you want to be seated indoor.

This place is one of my go-to comfort food. Their chicken rice and braised pork rice also amazing. Worth a visit for foodie!

Finally succumbed to the lengthy queue and tried the highly raved Eat 3 Bowls. Ordered the Eat 3 Bowl set ($15) and chicken rice set ($8).

Overall, pretty decent food but nothing really much to shout about. Will consider revisiting if there is no queue.
