Finally succumbed to the lengthy queue and tried the highly raved Eat 3 Bowls. Ordered the Eat 3 Bowl set ($15) and chicken rice set ($8).

Overall, pretty decent food but nothing really much to shout about. Will consider revisiting if there is no queue.

Head over during peak hours and you’ll see snaking queues outside this cozy eatery! If it’s your first time here, definitely opt for the Three Bowls Set w Drink ($15) to get the full experience (Lu Rou Fan, Oyster Mee Sua, Chicken Rice). Personally I really love their Lu Rou Fan ($4.50 for ala carte, $8 for set) because it’s fragrant and tastes just like Taiwan! From their menu, to the seating and decor, it’ll have you reminiscing of the good old days in primary school too 👧🏻🧒🏻

Overall, the portions were generally average it is not recommended for big eaters unless you order more than one serving or if you purchase the 3 bowls set for $15. On a side note, we liked the lu rou fan & chicken rice. The lu rou fan was very flavourful while the chicken was very soft & tender. On the other hand, the mee sua was just fine.

Seatings wise, there were only limited seats so there was a queue on 2 occasions that we had visited. Try to visit early because at 8pm, the staff told us that some drinks & food were out of stock... Definitely not the experience you’d wanna have if you’re gonna travel all the way down!

Loved all 3 dishes! If I had to choose one, my favorite would be the lu rou fan. Totally recommend to get this to try all. It’s a pretty sizeable portion and you can get this to share with a friend too.

Lurou fan set is $8 for the vegetables, braised eggs and a bowl of lurou fan. Rly tasty, generous portions as well

In the midst of COVID-19 when we can’t travel, this is the closest thing you can get to Taiwan. Tried their Eat 3 Bowls with drink ($15 nett) and braised chinese cabbage ($4.20 nett). Personally love their shredded chicken rice which was tender and fragrant with shallot oil drizzled onto the chicken. Their 卤肉饭 is good too! Braised pig intestine mee sua was not bad but pales in comparison to the other 2 rice dishes. Their milk tea is worth a try too with chewy pearls that are of the right Q-ness. Will definitely be back! Be prepared to Q during meal times though.
