First time here and didn't have very high expectations. Thought the food would be simple, half-decent Taipei fare. Turned out everything we ordered were all pretty good! I liked this flavourful 卤肉饭, tasty and quite authentic too. The "Taipei subway map"printed on the table is a nice touch :)
Cant remember the exact name of the dish but it was AWESOME! abit too oily but its authentic taiwanese taste is something i haven found in SG YET. Definitely a must try! 7.50$ if i remembered correctly. this dish will taste better if they are abit more generous with the veggies inside. the taiwanese sausage does not disappoint.
Not too sweet, with a good taste of tea. $2.80 is affordable.
"Eat at Taipei" at the newly revamped chinatown point. Yes, there is finally a cool place to hang out at china town with a good mix of eateries for both the young and old.
Don't be put off by the name. The name in Chinese just sounded like coffin wood. If you like thick toast and creamy seafood soup this is for you. The soup has prawns, sotong and fish and not too thick. Dip the top piece of bread in the soup and the combination is good.
