Quite ridiculous. For this price, the noodles themselves weren't particularly good, and the stock was not even as good as some of the better hokkien mees

There's squid rolls and large crystal prawns inside to justify the price

Chili was very sour and spicy, that worked fine

No need to try this. There wasn't even much wok hei

The soup was clear, it's not particularly good, passable depth and there's a smokiness

Noodles were very average, not enough bite, ckn was not seasoned and prawns were abit overcooked

Overall it's alright, no need to waste your time

The chef fried the Kway teow to get the char taste before served with the thick umami broth, pair of their signature charred prawns, prawn balls and gyoza.
đź’°$18.9

Beside this I also tried their Ebi and Vege-Crispy Fritter kway teow.
The fritter crispy,I preferable to eat separately from the carbs as a side dish.

The first thing that hits you is the charred prawn smell, and I mean this in a good way. Got me salivating and when the actual dish came, I was not disappointed - rich and flavourful broth paired with springy ramen noodles and plentiful ingredients (shoutout to the 2 huge charred prawns which was oh so good). Price might be abit steep but I suppose that's the trend with upscaled prawn mee recently.

$18.90
(We got the noodles combination in the other bowl $15.90)

This is the best combination ever! Super flavourful broth that is well absorbed into the crispy paofan! I love it!!!

Their "Chao Da" (Charred) Ebi Noodles was the Best-selling and Signature dish on its menu. The broth is cooked fresh daily with 40KG of prawns for more than 8 hours which explains the smell I'm inhaling while I'm queueing for my breakfast at their neighbouring shop.
The presentation caught me a surprise with the bowl served in a large Dim Sum basket. With 2 charred Prawns served atop the ramen with 3 slices of Pan Seared Chicken and beansprouts in a sweet, rich umami prawn broth.

I love soup and yes, I had the whole bowl of it down into my stomach. For all we know, there is no MSG, no pork and no lard included.

While most of us expect Prawn Mee to be paired with the typical thick yellow noodles, Ebi Bar has made this local prawn noodle a twist with Japanese Cuisine by replacing it with springy ramen. The Ramen was chewy and soaked up the essence of the rich prawn broth.

Not only that the Charred Prawn had packed a good smokey flavour and its juiciness makes the dish an addition.

The shell was tough and hard, thus it took me some time to deshell it. Nonetheless, the service rendered was good as the attentive staff took notice and start providing tissue and wet wipes.
