From the Burpple community

Set in a spacious shophouse unit overlooking Chinatown, Eight Treasures serves up a menu of vegetarian Chinese dishes, many painstakingly created to resemble the real thing. Its elegant setting makes it perfect for special occasions too. There is a strong focus on using mock meats, like in the chef's tasty speciality Vegetarian Honey Sauce Pork (from $15), but if that isn't up your alley, zero in on dishes that use whole foods like mushrooms, beancurd and green vegetables — these are equally tasty. Try the Fragrant Cereal Beancurd (from $15), Broccoli with Monkey Head Mushroom (from $15) and Special Heng Hwa Noodles (from $8). As the restaurant is still serving its special Chinese New Year set menu, these a la carte dishes will only be available after 23 Feb.
Avg price: $20 per person

These 'prawns' are purely meatless but it tastes just like the real ones!! Their 'meat' is actually made of soy and the texture was on point, plus it's not too greasy. Easily one of my favourite dishes that night! 😋

The noodle is soft and QQ. Love the peanuts because it is crunchy and the taste is so good! The best part is..it comes along with vegetarian prawns!! (Because i cant eat prawns due to allergy 😞)

Texture is really good. Not as hard as the real abalone but it's definitely worth the value

Good place for vegetarian food, if you're so inclined. There selection is pretty wide, from traditional to western dishes. Saw a kid at the next table having a "burger" with fries.

Hehe, at this cosy family vegetarian restaurant that sells very tasty meatless dishes! You see that plate of orange thingy at the back? That's VEGETARIAN SALMON! And it tastes so so real!! Will be sharing more interesting dishes soon :)
Thank you @openricesg for the food tasting invite and Zenna for being such a friendly host! (:
