This is their take on the classic Baja Fish, elevated. This Patagonian toothfish fillet is deep fried in tempura batter, before being served with pico de gallo, pickled shallots, and chipotle mayo on flour tortilla. Everyone around the table loved this the most.

Revelled in the pure decadence of the juicy strips of wagyu that were bathed in a mix of creamy avocado and flavoursome molcajete sauce. The thin slices of beef were delicately tender and allowed for a good interplay of textures with the charred tortillas which shattered like thunder, thanks to a lining of crispy mozzarella — quite shiok.
The wheat tortilla is wrapped with tempura toothfish paired with pico de gallo and pickled shallots and chipotle mayo. The toothfish gives the taco a satisfying substantial bite complemented by the chipotle mayo, while the pickled shallots provided the needed acidity to bring everything together.

I’m gonna jump right in with a superlative here cause that’s how impressed I was with El Mero Mero’s Baja Fish tacos, enough to say it’s the best fish tacos I’ve had in Singapore. The fresh flour tortillas are great, condiments and sauces fantastic (pico de gallo, pickled shallots, the chipotle mayo is bomb), but what sealed the deal was the tempura tooth fish. The batter was so light it’s almost absent, and the fish was amaaaaazingly juicy and moist — it sealed the deal for me really.
Corn sample, guacamole, Mexican cocktails, fish tacos and el mero mero fajitas were all pretty and yummy!
