Like good ol’ bolognese sauce, the Chicken Sausage Tomate ($23) was a classic. Served with homemade chicken sausage, tomato basil sauce, and topped with parsley; the tangy number was fairly substantial. Our choice of pasta, the linguine, was also al dente perfection and went superbly with the generous heap of tomato-based meat sauce and grated parmesan cheese.

If you are just not feeling it and want to give their pasta a miss, their Pan Seared Salmon ($24) was a pretty good alternative. Paired with chunky roasted baby potatoes, the slab was tender and fresh-tasting while the edges of the skin were crisp. The mixed peppers compote was sweet and nicely balanced by the light acidity from the slashes of balsamic glaze.

Coated with the aromatic and herby sauce, Eleven Strands’ Prawn Basil Pesto Pasta ($23) was slurp-worthy indeed. The sauce being the main star as it had a great blend of savoury flavours - all nutty, cheesy, garlicky, and earthy. Prepared with grilled prawns, pine nuts, and parmesan cheese, the plate was not too jelat and the portion was decent for sharing. Opting for their handmade tagliatelle (+$3), I also enjoyed the al dente texture of the noodles and was impressed by its ability to pick up as well as hold the sauce.

I would say this dish is pretty average to be honest… not sure what’s the hype about it, because the portion is not a lot and the pesto tasted average with small prawns. However, I think it’s still worth a go if you’re a pesto lover! 🍝

Hands down one of the best truffle fries we’ve had! Fragrant and coated with the truffle kombu, each fry was crispy until the very end. Skip the greasy and soggy fries for these!!

Those who prefer a thin crust pizza would love this! Enjoyed the generous topping to crust ratio. The runny yolk was a highlight too!
