Ordered the breakfast platter ($27) which was probably enough to feed 2 pax. Inside it was eggs, bread, salad, sausages, bacon, salmon tomatoes, potatos.

Their potatoes were well fried outside, yet soft inside. Which is also how i'd describe their toasted brioche buns.

Their eggs also were very creamy. Get the truffle eggs prosciutto if truffles are your thing. They give a generous amount of truffle which gives the egg an added kick

But they dont take reservations unfortunately. I reached at 11.15am and still had to queue, so you might want to head there earlier. And ask for a seat inside. The heat can get unbearable if you're seated outside.

Looking forward to going back to try their beef cheek rendang

The toast was soft, which was not a bad thing (who says it needs to be crispy to be good!) for this dish. The egg is drizzled with truffle oil and the ham was salty - but because of this combination of scrambled eggs, ham and toast, the different flavours complemented one another so well that it made this breakfast dish so delectable! Admittedly for a small eater, I got quite sick of the taste after a while, but I’m not complaining as it just meant that the portion was really generous and filling!

Elixir does one of a better scrambles, infused nicely with truffle shavings. No words for prosciutto cause, it’s self explanatory good on its own. Though the portion may seem small on the first impressions, the brioche and eggs it leaves me belly full.

Ooh, they do good coffees too.

One cup of coffee is never enough for me so I got a cup of iced white from Elixir Boutique Roasters. Past the milk, the acidity was not too forward and I liked the milk chocolate flavour notes and even a hint of roasted nuts.

Had my eye on this place since they have Burpple 1-for-1 deals but since I had such a packed day ahead for eating, I’ll definitely be back for more mains the next time I’m in the area!

Verdict: 8/10

i wanted to try the French toast but the menu was not updated on burpple and its apparently now on sweets so I wasn’t able to redeem. Abit disappointing the portion size is not justified by the portion but with 1-1 I would say it is decent meal as the bread was very fluffy and nice and the shakshuka eggs were poached to perfection and were very peppery

Have been wanting to try out this place but it is almost always packed to the brim on weekends, so I am so happy when they offer delivery together with Fat Belly's offerings. Nicely done toast, coated with caramelised sugar just like a crème brûlée but not over the top hence it is not jelak and really enjoyable. They are generous on the toppings, which balance out the sugar-y feels of the toast. The cream is my highlight - liquidy, flavorful, and compliments the toast really well!
