Bf and me had the classic pork beehoon, crab omelette and this new item black pepper beef with foie gra. Dessert was Orh Ni and Chendol Panna Cotta. This place was recommended by a friend and it really didn’t disappoint. Everything is super good and recommend to share (so that can eat more)! I also had a jug of G&T (Gordon Gin) at $15 only. Damn worth it.

The taste was very unique and different than the usual taste I have in other places. It really taste like it was prepared with petai but was told that actually not, just some type of beans. But it was definitely a interesting taste. $9.80++

With limited servings daily, get the chance if they still available for you. A smooth, white, collagen-rich fish soup that archived though their hours of preparing with no milk added.

The fish slices was soft and delicious, soup base was much a sweeter side which you will want to get more slips of it. Enough portion for 2 people. $11.80++

You won’t easily spot this restaurant outside as it hidden inside Kam Leng Hotel, a very nostalgic building.

Serving tze char in a modern style but yet with nostalgia decoration and cuisine.

For the meat I would recommend their pork cheek with was a plate of smoky, succulent premium pork cheek grilled to charred perfection, served with their special sauce. I really enjoy how juicy every slices of it. $14.80++

This is my first time trying Crispy Hor Fun so this dish at @enjoyeatinghouse was really innovative to me! 😍😍😍 (NOT sponsored hor! 😂) @happiersg later shared that Sinpopo also has a rendition, while Google yielded results of other zichar stalls that also offered crispy horfun. Nevertheless, this sure was a satisfying bowl! ❤

Served in a stone pot to retain its warmth, Silky Egg Crispy Hor Fun ($11.80++) features crispy fried wide rice noodles with prawns 🦐, pork & shitake mushrooms 🍄 in a rich, silky egg sauce. 🍳

Honestly, the crispy hor fun was reminiscent of wanton skin to me. 😋😋😋 When not in contact with the egg gravy, the horfun was absolutely crispy & exuded an alluring fragrance & ultimate crunch that I was so drawn to! 💕 When doused with the gravy which was a smooth concoction that has inherited the ultimate fragrance of the fried horfun & full of eggy aroma 🍳, the horfun became soft starchy pieces that were still extremely flavourful. 🤤

I cannot emphasise enough on how generous the chefs are with the ingredients 💯 - there were 2 springy prawns 🦐, 2 earthy shitake mushrooms 🍄, some crunchy Kai Lan greens 🥬, & many succulent pork slices! 🐖 So much that you are guaranteed an accompanying side with every spoon of horfun! For the price tag, this is really quite value for money! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 & enjoy 1-for-1 on #burpplebeyond! ✔

Among all the yummy dishes that @enjoyeatinghouse offers, this plate of Grandma’s “Te Kah” Bee Hoon ($11.80) is undoubtedly the TOP PICK, not just for me but everyone else! ❤❤❤

The braised pork leg is home-made from scratch, painstakingly cooked for long hours to yield the pull-apart tenderness that we enjoy in every plate. 🤤🤤🤤 The right cut of pork leg used is also critical in achieving the perfect lean-fat ratio - I mean, collagen! 🐷 Liked that the meats weren’t fatty, & the thick skin had such a nice chew (not tough at all)! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Of course the essence of the braised pork is not gone to waste. 💕 After the vermicelli is first wok-fried to inherit the smoky wok-hei, it is doused with the essence that has been reduced into a gravy, allowing the thin noodles to absorb all the savoury elements. 😍😍😍

Paired with juicy earthy mushrooms 🍄 & some fresh greens 🥬, this was certainly a heart-warming plate with a bust of flavours in every mouth. 😋😋😋
