The food is so good!! There are many things to choose from and every single one that i ordered was amazing. Would strongly rec the ugly vegetable and the pork slices.

I ordered the ugly cabbage in fish sauce, crispy hor fun, chicken satay and bbq pork cheek! It was my first time trying a new version of hor fun and it comes with seafood. Both the meat from chicken satay and pork cheek are juicy and tender, one of the best dishes that I have tasted. Lastly, the ugly cabbage has the wok hey taste, it can be a simple dish yet you will find yourself kept on eating it. Overall, I really enjoyed the food at Enjoy Eating House! :)

I am quite surprised to find an ox tail dish in a zichar-ish restaurant and the Braised Ox Tail and Beef Shank ($30) turned out good! Although the ox tail and beef shank are not fall-off-the-bone tender, they are not tough and there is quite a satisfying bite to it. I’m not sure what the sauce entails (tastes like fermented beancurd to me) but it is very hearty and flavourful - definitely the kind of stew that goes very well with rice.

Chef Joel’s Mee Kia ($14) is one item on the menu that I’ve always wanted to try. The springy egg noodle is tossed in a lardy sauce and served with their signature BBQ pork cheek, truffle sous vide egg, crab meat, garlic bits and vegetables. The grilled pork cheek is tender, slightly sweet, well charred and not too fatty. Although the truffle taste is not very prominent, all the flavours come together nicely and I enjoyed this thoroughly.

The most unassuming dish of the night turned out to be my favourite: Ugly Cabbage in Fish Sauce ($13). The cabbage is sweet, crisp and full of fragrance from the garlic and fish sauce. The wok hei is pretty strong as well - delicious!

Lemongrass drink has really strong lemongrass taste; but too sweet for my liking..
